Racing Minds is one of our standout projects. This project, based on Ford and Unit 9’s collaboration, explores the connection between technology and racing drivers’ performance.
In a 13-minute documentary, we follow two elite rally drivers, Gus Greensmith, and Adrien Fourmaux, as they test the innovative Ford EEG helmet. With simulated and real-world racing situations, detailed graphics, and expert insights, the film dives into the complexities of a drivers’ minds under the intense demands of racing, examining how a new wave of data technology can enhance their approach, attention and reactions to any given race scenario.
This project was a groundbreaking experience, as we tested every aspect of the helmet’s technology for the first time. The filming took place at Motorland, an FIA international racetrack in Aragon, Spain. The results were highly insightful, revealing a new potential training method for professional drivers: enhancing mental performance in Motorsports.
